When all four Gospels reiterate that Christ will "baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire," an essential aspect of Jesus' ministry is emphasized. You cannot ignore this prophetic utterance regarding Christ's ministry made by His cousin! Unless you are open to Jesus' Spirit-ministry, you will not be ushered into His kingdom's realities. You cannot live the spiritual life apart from this particular ministry of Christ.
