Life is the central and foremost reality of the nature of God. Life is not something God does–life is Who God is! Life is not some aspect (characteristic) of some of God; life is the intrinsic nature of every Person in the Godhead.
The nature of God as Father is life. (John 5:26a; 6:57a; Acts 17:25; 1 Tim. 6:16; Heb. 10:31)

It is the burden of God to have an expression in this earth. God’s heart is a congruency between the heavenly and the earthly, between the supernatural and the natural, between the eternal and the temporal. Man is to bring about that congruency. Man is to be an expression of the invisible God in the here and now.

There's a very basic internal calibration that has to occur within a believer if he is to really live the Christian life as God intended. He will have to learn that God is the Giver of everything pertaining to the Christian life, and that he is merely the receiver. It cannot be the other way around.
